At the heart of Brooklands is our 16 peg fishing and well stocked fishing lake.  Open to day ticket anglers and residents alike, the lake can provide hours of sport, fishing for:

  • rudd
  • roach
  • tench
  • bream
  •  carp

Have a look at the gallery at the bottom of the page as an example. 

The fish grow strong here, mainly due to the availability of natural food available, as the water conditions and trees provide excellent habit for water born insects, as do the trees.

Well stocked

Our lake is well stocked with carp up to 10lbs (we think) and a variety of other species

Spacious pegs

Our 16 fishing pegs are well positioned  from on another and give the angler plenty of space for their tackle and baits

Rules

  • Barbless hooks only
  • Landing mats must be used
  • Max 10lb breaking strain line
  • No cat food or peanuts
  • No keep nets
  • No night fishing
  • Fish must be landed by net and returned to water quickly
  • Rubbish must be put in bins provided
  • No throwing left over goundbait into the lake
